Back in the good old days, they used to have circus performances in the parking lots of supermarkets and shopping centers. Looks like fun to me.

Circuses don't seem to be as popular as they used to be. I'd chalk it up to modern forms of entertainment :(.
I went to a parking lot circus only 25 years ago. Of course it was a small town, but it was a circus in the supermarket parking lot. Mom said that I should get a look at the animals since animal (circus) acts were dying out. Cool pic! Poor elephant :(

I remember seeing the Budweiser Clydesdale 8 horse hitch in a supermarket parking lot in Mass. It was a sight to see!
