Cereal Box concept art

These great little sketches were rough ideas for Post cereal boxes. Such great 1960's styling and done in such a quick sure way. They almost feel like little pop art paintings.

Holy Grape Nuts! Your collection never ceases to amaze and inspire me. Now that's a truly rare treasure—how did you happen to find, of all things, the comps for Post cereal boxes? Geez.

Wow, checked it out...you weren't kidding! Lucky you to have acquired all that...

One of my old friends used to work at a Kinko's out in the valley back in the early '90s...I guess it was near Burbank or something, I dunno...but he used to pick up all these discarded character style guides, storyboards and other art miscellanea thrown out by industry people who came in to make color copies, etc. He had some pretty good stuff, from what I remember...even some Star Wars related sketches and stuff (copies, of course, but still!).
