I have just started a new series of paintings in which Mr Toast and friends take on litter in all its insidious forms. This first one is aptly titled "POW!". More exciting battles to come.

Great idea Dan! Any chance it will be another children's book...?
It's hard to do the insidious part when your characters all look so cute.
I could definitely see Mr Toast kicking some cigarette butts away. They're everywhere!
yeah the Cigarettes are on the hit list. One of these days the new kids book will get going but not just yet.....
I like it and I can't wait for Mr. Toast to take on the cigarette butts! I hate watching someone flick a cigarette butt out of a car window... God gave you dashboard ashtrays for a purpose!
To be honest though, I will chuck an apple core or the crusts of bread off into the weeds. I don't think of that as littering... I figure some critter will eat it or it will decompose into mulch!
My dad always said there are two kinds of people: those who eat crusts and cores, and those who are starving in third-world countries...
I hate my dad.
