Cocoa the Elephant

This is a nice group of Cocoa the Elephant animation drawings. Cocoa was the mascot for Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies around 1960. At the end are a few drawings of Jose the Monkey who was the mascot before Cocoa but continued on in the commercials with Cocoa.

Pogo Display

In 1969 Procter & Gamble made cool Pogo vinyl figures which were attached to their product boxes. These amazing cardboard signs were sent out to grocery stores as part of the promotion.

Luchador

I made this guy for someone who is a big fan of Mexican Wrestling. I didn't intend for him to be like Nacho Libre but those were the only colors I had. Kind of a funny and apropos coincidence. We might have to do a limited edition sometime....

Wood-imals

The Wood-imals lived on Jungle Island across the street from Knott's Berry Farm. They were great folk art animals carved from wood and varnished by Forrest Morrow.

He also made smaller ones like I have above and sold the big ones with the following flyer. They are so simple and yet so engaging.
