Love your blog. It's in my folder of must visit daily sites. Thanks for giving me a smile each day ;-) PS: the Mary Blair cards are great! I've added a few of these to my screensaver photo collection.
I know that Blair's style was similar to many other commercial artists of the 60s and 70s, but I was wondering - was she perhaps responsible for the illos on the "Eat-It-All" ice cream cone dispenser box that we all saw in virtually every ice cream parlour in the US during that time? You know the one I'm talking about - it was a rosy-cheeked boy & girl eating an ice cream cone; very colorful and very similar in style. That image made an indelible mark on my psyche.

I dont think she had anything to do with the Eat It All kids. As has been noted elswhere she did the Meadow Gold Girl.
