Todays photos are again from a big group of photos I talked about yesturday. The first one is of a Seal character from Seaworld in San Diego. I remember the Dancing Waters and the pearl diving but I dont remember this character.
The second photo is of a Woody Woodpecker statue that used to greet visitors out in front of Universal Studios in the late 1960's. Alas he is long gone.

Odd question... did you happen to pick up a copy of Chris Sanders' sketch book? He was selling it at the con, and now a week later I'm kicking myself for not buying it. The little temp. tattoo I picked up at his booth is so well-designed and I thought, how great would it be to get it made into a REAL tattoo... maybe the original drawing had been in the sketchbook itself. But darn, I should have just bought the thing for $20 like I wanted to.
sorry I didnt pick up any sketchbooks.....
It is cool to see these old photos from a life of someone you don't know. The girl in the photo looks like she is in her mid teens!
Dan - amazing Sea World photo! Really great... Now if you can just find more of the Hawaiian Punch Pavilion...
I love the color in these pictures! - As for the sketchbook, it's available at Staurt Ng and Bud plant, and it's aound $12 or $15.
