In 1983 Screaming Yellow Zonkers offered cool little space creatures inside the boxes. They even went so far as to trick out a thermal coffee mug as their space ship. Fun stuff.

The back of the first box reminds me of the revamped Freakies cereal in the 1980s, with the new space theme.
So cool! It makes me sad because in Portugal we didn't had that kind of stuff in the 80's...
The original figures actually came from Portugal, which made a set of 16 figures (10 aliens, 5 astronauts, i chair) for Ola ice cream in 1968. They were only 30mm high, when Zonkers rotoscoped the figures in 1983, they were made 60mm figures.
