I just bought a collection of over 100 candy bar wrappers. It was all stuff from the late 40's and early 50's but some of them are pretty wild. Enjoy a Big Chief Brittle Bar or a Zion Fig Pie. It is amazing how many candy bars have come and gone through the years.

Those wrappers are really cool! Love those vintage designs and letterings.
Meet you at WWLA in March. I didn't know you were the co-author of Krazy Kids' Foods. I have that book and really love it. Going to have to bring it with me to SDCC for a sig now. Hope you have a Senor Cork and Pickle doll there for me to buy too.

Great collection Dan. I love the Cold Turkey...must have been used for those folks quiting smoking.
I just posted about this and linked to you from Candy Addict. Nice stuff! I'm curious - how much did it cost to buy those? Are we talking 10s of dollars? 100s? 1000s? Just curious.

I paid $125 for 100 wrappers - seemed pretty fair

{Are you going to the Con? Maybe now I simply MUST go, brave the crowds and finally meet up with some people! I ought to have a shirt made or something so people will know who the extremely short woman is...or perhaps not! lol}

The one that intrigued me the most is the "Queen Anne Jingle" wrapper with the fill-in jingle on it. Let's see...

Do you happen to have the Cugat's Nougat wrapper?
Would you consider making hi-rez images of your wrappers available for a graphic design project? I'm a Parsons student doing a book on vintage candy wrappers. I'd be willing to compensate you as well as provide a copy of the finished project. My email address is kimberlywoody@gmail.com. Thank you.
