1970's Cornnuts ads

Cornnuts ad

I don't know how many bags of these I ate as a kid. Such a classic vintage package design. I would love to find one of the bags.

Mr Toast's USA Tour - Massachusetts

Mr Toast is now entering Boston and his host is Ken.

Mr Toast always likes to read a local paper to get an idea of what is going on around town.

The MBTA is always a great way to get around.

Or you can always take the bus.

Thanks for the lift Ken, Mr Toast can't always get high enough to see the local skyline.

Well Boston has been great fun. Where will Mr Toast find himself next....

Comic Con Goodies

Perhaps my favorite thing of the show was the Canned Haminal. So cute and there is also a super funny book about him. Check him out at Haminal.com

Canned HaminalCanned Haminal bookYo Gabba Gabba buttons

The Nick booth was giving out Yo Gabba Gabba buttons. I got a few at the show but ordered the set off ebay when I got home.

Putrid Pal

Michael Fleming (Tweedlebop) came by and gave me some great Putrid Pal buttons and postcards. Other cool people that came by included Mike Payne, Dan Coble, Dave/Tokka/B2, Larry Marder (Beanworld), Juliana (Colorblok), Jess Hutch & Jeff Heerman, Jeff Pidgeon, Elizabeth Ito, Phil (devojane), Sappy Moose Tree and too many other people to remember. As always I want to thank everyone for stopping by and saying HI, see you all next year I hope.

Mr Toast's USA Tour - New Hampshire

Today Mr Toast has found himself today in New Hampshire, known as the Granite State. His host is local resident Falon.

The Old Man in the Mountain is one of New Hampshire's most well known landmarks.

Opened in 1902, the Mount Washington Hotel is one the Grand Hotels of the United States.

As a special bonus Falon took Mr Toast down to Fenway Park in Boston which just by chance is Mr Toast's next destination.
