A trip to the 1964 Los Angeles Sportman's Show and you might have been lucky to see the Rocket Belt Men. These guys toured the country doing shows and flying through the air for 90 seconds on a tank of hydrogen peroxide. At some point they promotoed Keds shoes and even did some flights over Disneyland.

Very cool! I've been watching Ark II dvd and they use one of these in every episode.
