Last night was the custom lunch box show at Monkeyhouse Toys in Silverlake. It was a nice lowkey event on a warm summer evening. At the show I got to meet Maddi and her mom. Maddi had a lunch box in the show (its the one on the lower shelf) and she is a big Mr Toast fan. In addition to attending the opening, she was buying one of my comics and some of my plush for a friends birthday party. The environment that Mayra, the owner of Monkeyhouse, fosters is pretty amazing and I must say that I am proud to be a little part of it.
