Nickelodeon Art SHow

Last night was the Nickelodeon art show where I showed my Lemon Bros. Markets paintings. The show took place in a room in the building where Sponge Bob comes to life. The show "Milk Milk Lemonade" was made up of work by me, Randy Saba and Nouar. All the work was food and product related. It was a fun opening with mini hot dogs and plenty of cupcakes. I got to say hi to Amy Winfrey and Rob, who are both working on Amy's new Nick show based on her popular webtoon Making Fiends. I also got to talk with Dave "Major Pepperidge" of Gorillas don't Blog. It is pretty cool to hang out and have my art in a place where everything going on is creative.

Wow, what a nice showing, and a very kewl location. Congratulations - I hope it was well-received. My instinct would have been to 'work' the display of your pieces a little differently, to emphasize the 'retail' theme - run them all single-row, a little bit over comfortable eye-level and with the tops levelled...but it does look like you were dealing with a pretty limited space, so maybe that kind of thing was out of the question.
I love the fonts used for the wall titling - did somebody paint those?

Nouar had the lettering done at a vinyl lettering place, they laser cut it and then you just stick it to the wall. It looks quite professional.
