Futuro House

I just got a new slide scanner so I pulled out a few I had never scanned. Up top is one of a Futuro house from 1972. Below are a couple of 1950's Disneyland pics.

That is one retrofabulous home...where did you find that pic? It's really cool! I wonder what the inside of it looks like. Thanks for posting such neat stuff!

Thank you for that link! It looks like a great book; I'd love to hear the cd & check out that documentary too. The pic of the guy shaving is hilarious. Anyway, I was inspired to look at some more extraordinary & inspiring architecture online tonight thanks to stumbling across your post~thanks again!

First time visitor to your blog. I've got Imaginary World linked up on mine, since it rules. Cool slides—that Futuro house reminds me of a later rendition of Disneyland's "Monsanto's House of Tomorrow" which was a star attraction when Disneyland opened in the '50s. They actually have the must-see full-length promo reel of that house in the DVD release of "Home Movie." Are these slides that you found, or actual family history?

most of the slides I post are found ones - not anyone I know
