It looks like the Blue Boy brand was around for many years. Does it still exist? The "modernized" version of the kid is great.

my apartment is quite a mess - most of my stuff is in boxes and a lot in storage. since most of it is paper it is pretty hard to display but I do have some of my favorite thigns framed and some cereal boxes out on shelves. I think I have emailed with Lileks but I dont know him personally.

As to Blue Boy, I dont really know anything. probably a regional canning company. I think this load of can labels came from someone in the midwest.

I used to LOVE that canned macaronni and cheese stuff as a kid! I still see other versions at the store once in awhile, but none have that gritty, mealy-cheesy flavor of the old franco american brand!
