These little candy wrappers are some of the earliest food packaging to feature a cartoon character back in the 1930's. Mickey Mouse would go on to be the king of 30's marketing but thse little wrappers are a nice little remnent of the battle for cartoon supremacy that went on then. Each little wrapper had a cartoon on the back which I am sure kids loved collecting (although it would have been hard to find all 100+ different).
