Sounds like a lot of fun. I'm glad to see they are featuring traditional Japanese cuisine, like grilled cheese from a truck and Pabst.
The whole event is like a dream come true! (except for the part about my not being able to go because of being more than half-way across the country). Hard to say what the best part would be, but I think it's the chance to take a photo with the giant Mr. Toast. The good part, though, is even though I can't make this, there's a pretty good chance I'll be able to go to the LA Times Festival of Books again. We shall see...
There has been talk of doing a little tour later in the year or maybe next year. It hinges on a few things happening. We shall see.
But maybe I will bring the costume out to LA Times!
