Long Beach Comic Con 2011

It was my first Long Beach Comic Con and certainly not my last. It was a fun show, well run and well attended. Thanks to everyone that stopped by and see you next year.

Next up is DesignerCon on Saturday, November 5th and a Holiday Gift Show at Royal/T on Sunday, November 6th, 10-3PM.

New York Comic Con 2011

This year for the New York Comic Con, I am just going as a visitor. I will do a little set up at the Art Hustle Booth, #576 on Friday Oct 14th from 4-4;30 - I will be doing FREE custom sketch trading cards and have some other artwork and goodies for sale.

if for any reason you want to meet up with me at some other point while I am at the show let me know. I will be there Friday and Saturday.

Retro Video Game Art Show

Gallery 1988 Venice is having a Retro Video Game Art Show. I have worked up a bunch of little watercolors for the show. Show opens tonight September 16th from 7-10 PM and runs til October 8th.

Screaming Sky Gallery

Having a little art show in Portland, OR starting this Saturday at Screaming Sky Gallery. I will be at the opening from 1-4PM. Lots of little watercolors and some other paintings too. On the same day, there is the Alberta Street Fair so lots of fun to be had in the area.

Comic Con 2011

It is July and that must mean that Comic Con is shortly on us. I am sorry if you don't have tickets since once again the show is sold out. My exclusive for this year is Frankentoast. Only 1000 made. For those of you that can't make it to the show, I will keep some back to put in my webstore right after I get home from the con. I am at my usual booth #4381 and will be there from preview night July 20th until Sunday July 24th. Hope to see you there.

Crazy for Cult 5

Summer is here again and that means the Crazy 4 Cult show at Gallery 1988 on Melrose. A bunch of artists all do their own take on Cult Movies. I had to go with the Warriors this year. The show opens Friday, July 8 at 7 PM, expect a huge crowd

Then on Sunday, July 10th, at noon there will be a book signing for the Crazy 4 Cult book which just came out. I have my Napoleon Dynamite pieces in the book and I will be at the signing. So come by if you are in town.

Pee Wee Herman

I am starting work on a series of watercolor drawings based on Pee Wee Herman and Pee Wee's Playhouse. Long an inspiration, it is fun to take a shot at it.

Anime Expo

Once again it is time for Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center. I will be there July 1-4 with all the Mr Toast goods you can think of.
