Comic Con 2009 Wrap Up

Mr Toast Fans

Well we survived another San Diego Comic Con. Five days of totally madness. Seemed like a million fans came by, tons of familiar faces and a lot of people stopping by for the first time. In the Dark Horse booth we had a new line of fashion girls t-shirts and tote bags which sold like crazy. They also debuted the Mr Toast Gelaskins for phones and computers which will be available online in August.

Back in the Mr Toast booth, I sold every Ninja Joe the Egg I brought but if you missed out, I kept a case of dolls at home and have them for sale on my site with all the other plush toys. I also got to meet a long time idol of mine, Paul Frank. Comic Con is a magical time that rushes past so fast you don't have time to really think about it. I can't wait for next year!

  1. Sounds like it was a blast -- and glad it was good for you. I'm looking forward to ordering some Ninja Joe. Any chance there were any of the posters of the characters by the pool, left, too?

  4. no I did not get to see them. Last year I met the woman who does the voice of the little blue bear Piddles and she sent me a set of the little dolls signed. They are great artists.
