The Art of Steven Weissman

About 3 years ago, I went to a small independant comic show at UCLA and was introduced to the work of Steven Weissman. His Yikes world is populated by a group of kids that include a dead boy, a boy made from the parts of other boys and Lil Bloody, a kid vampire. But the stories are sweet and personal, with artwork that continues to amaze me everytime I revisit it. In 2004, I was lucky enough to have Steven do a couple commisioned drawings for me of amusement park scenes. They are some of my most prized pieces of artwork.
