Celebrities

There are a lot of celebrities walking around Comic Con but my favorite encounter at the show was meeting two of the people responsible for Hoops and Yoyo. Bev is the voice of Piddles (the little blue bear) and Bill is one of the producers. They were out at the show with Hallmark who had some stuff at one of the booths. Bev was walking around holding the stuffed Hoops and Yoyo and I just had to get a picture with them.

We talked a little and they told me they knew and enjoyed Mr Toast. What a great compliment that was to me. They said next year there might be more of Hoops & Yoyo presence at the con and maybe a panel. I can't wait (expect me to be gone from the booth for that hour!)

Vampire Toast

This photo is of Jack. He is a big time Mr Toast fan and each year at Comic Con he adds to his Mr Toast art collection. His choice this year was my rendition of Mr Toast as the Thing from the Fantastic Four. I love to think of cool people like Jack taking my art home and enjoying it everyday. So thank you Jack and all the other people that purchased some of my art at Comic Con.

Nick Magazine

In the new August issue of Nick Magazine, I have a couple of gag comics. It is pretty neat to see my character Joe the Egg in a magazine that is distributed everywhere in the country.

San Diego Comic Con

Well the Con officially starts this wednesday. It is going to be 5 days of Mr Toast Mania. The show is sold out so if you dont have a ticket, start planning for next year!!!!!!

My booth number is #4831 and I am right next to the Funko booth. I have tons of new shirts, buttons, wallets and even some little Vampire Toasts. So stop by and say hi if you are in the neighborhood.

2 Weeks to Comic Con

I hope you have bought your tickets because they are almost sold out. My booth number is #4831 and I am right next to the Funko booth (they sell the nodders).

The image above is for some new buttons which I hope will show up before the show. Also we will have new shirts and the limited Vampire Toast doll. If you want a Vampire Toast doll come early, each day I will have some but I expect they will go fast......

The Anime Expo is turning out to be quite a blast. My favorite moment so far was when a kid came up wearing the first t-shirt i ever had printed! His name was Danny and he has had the shirt for 4 years and had gotten it from a friend of a friend. It was like seeing an old friend and Danny was a cool kid to boot. I am at the show 2 more days and even Mr Toast is getting into it.....

For the next 4 days I will be set up at the Anime Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center. As always I will have dolls, books, buttons and t-shirts for sale (including the New Ninja Joe shirt). My booth number is #1349. It should be quite a blast.
